2013 PFL Schedule
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson will host league tri-champion Drake and face new members Mercer and Stetson next year, as the Pioneer Football League announced its 12-team conference game schedule for the upcoming 2013 season Monday.
The 2013 PFL schedule is the first with 12 teams, but will retain its single-division format to determine the league champion. Each league member will play eight games within the conference schedule. The 2013 PFL race leads up to the league's first automatic qualification into the NCAA FCS Championship, which begins Nov. 30.
Davidson will play its first two league games on the road, opening the conference slate at Morehead State (Sept. 28) and then traveling to Dayton (Oct. 5). Drake (Oct. 12) will open a two-game homestand for Davidson that will include Marist (Oct. 19).
The Wildcats will travel to Jacksonville (Oct. 26) before facing the league's newest members back-to-back, hosting Mercer (Nov. 2) and traveling to Stetson (Nov. 9). Davidson will host Campbell in the regular-season finale, Nov. 16.
The schedule listed is tentative and subject to change.
