Carkhuff and Kidwell Earn CFPA Weekly Honors

DAVIDSON - Davidson College quarterback Jonathan Carkhuff and defensive back Peter Kidwell have been named FCS Honorable Mention Performer of the Week at their respective positions by the College Football Performance Awards, it was announced today.
Carkhuff passed for for 357 yards and three touchdowns in the Wildcats' 28-10 home win over Lenoir-Rhyne Saturday. The sophomore completed 37-of-50 passes to 11 different receivers in the contest.
Kidwell picked off two passes, giving him seven career interceptions. The senior also made nine tackles, including seven solo hits.
The Wildcats are off this weekend and return to action Saturday, Sept. 24, when they host Johnson C. Smith at Richardson Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., and the Fan Tailgate Zone opens at 4 p.m.
