Childs Selected for NWCA Coaches Academy

MANHEIM, Pa. – Assistant wrestling coach Michael Childs has been selected to attend the elite NWCA College Coaches Leadership Academy.
The National Wrestling Coaches Association, through a collaborative effort with internationally renowned coaching development expert, Dr. Dan Gould at Michigan State University, has constructed a gold standard leadership program to help college coaches improve all facets of their program.
Childs will join coaches from all around the country in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., August 3-4. He will be one of approximately 60 selected to attend.
Davidson head coach Bob Patnesky completed the same program last year.
Childs is entering his second season as Davidson College's assistant coach.
