
Davidson Hands Out 2010-11 Athletic Awards

DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson College has announced its award winners for the 2010-11 athletic season, including the Tommy Peters Award (senior Alex Radsky, an NCAA Wrestling Championships qualifier in 2009-10) and the Rebecca A. Stimson Award (two-time NCAA Swimming Championships qualifier senior Lindsey Martin), honoring the college's top male and female athletes.
In recognition of their outstanding dedication and contribution to intercollegiate athletics, senior Michael Frongello was presented with the Thomas D. Sparrow Award, while second-team All-SoCon pick senior Allison Drutchas received the Susan K. Roberts Award. Richard Fountain, a 2011 NCAA Regional Golf qualifier, was recognized with the Helen DeVane Carnegie Award, presented to Davidson's most outstanding freshman athlete.
