Sixty Wildcats Named to Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Sixty Wildcats earned Pioneer Football League Academic Honor Roll accolades, as Davidson compiled a team GPA of 3.05 for the fall semester.
Davidson's 60 players on the PFL Academic Honor Roll is the second-highest total for the program. Sixty-four Wildcats earned the honor in 2009, 50 in 2008 and 38 were named to the Honor Roll in 2007.
The academic honor roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the fall semester and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full time in accordance with NCAA rules.
Davidson returns 15 starters, including five All-Pioneer Football League players, to the 2011 team.
