Lamb Adds Another Weekly Honor

DAVIDSON, N.C. — On the heels of earning Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week honors behind his 11-strikeout, 1-0 complete-game shutout of the Furman Paladins, junior LHP Chris Lamb has been named Southeast Pitcher of the Week by CollegeBaseballInsider.com.
Lamb scattered three hits and walked just one in the 1-0 win over Furman on March 4, the Wildcats' first Southern Conference shutout since March 31, 2006. He pitched Davidson's only complete game of last season as well, a 16-strikeout, seven-inning complete game 6-2 win over NC Central on April 17, 2010.
Earlier this week, Lamb earned Davidson's first SoCon Pitcher of the Week honor since senior RHP Mike Frongello on April 20, 2009.
