Tonight's Baseball Game vs. UNC Asheville Moved to April 6

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Due to rain in the forecast, tonight's baseball game against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs has been moved to Wednesday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Wilson Field.
After four straight weekends of play at Wilson Field, the Wildcats will now hit the road for a three-game set against The Citadel (7-8, 3-3 SoCon) at Riley Park.
About the Bulldogs
The Citadel is sixth in the league, just above Davidson, with a 3-3 record in the SoCon. The Citadel, which has played all six of its SoCon games at Riley Park, swept Appalachian State (4-0, 12-4, 4-1) on the opening weekend of league play and were swept by Samford in three straight one-run games (3-4, 7-8, 1-2) over the weekend. The Bulldogs have a pair of midweek games scheduled with Winthrop, in Rock Hill tonight and at Riley Park tomorrow night.
Citadel is ranked sixth in the league with a batting average of .275 and fourth with a team ERA of 3.73. Their fielding percentage of .964 is seventh best. Individually, there are no Bulldogs in the top 15 in batting average. Austin Pritcher has the third-best ERA in the league with a 1.55, followed by teammate Bryce Hines (1.62). TJ Clarkson ranks 10th with an ERA of 2.37. Pritcher also is ranked second with 34 strikeouts.
About the Wildcats
The Wildcats are sitting at seventh in the Southern Conference standings after the first two weekends of league play.
Freshman left fielder Forrest Brandt (eighth, .404) and junior first baseman/outfielder Drew Gadaire (14th, .386) continue to rank among the best in the league in batting average. Senior Mike Frongello ranks second in the league with an ERA of 1.02, and Lamb is seventh in ERA (2.22) and fourth in strikeouts (30).
