Crawford was the National Special Teams Player of the Week Oct. 7, 2000, after blocking two kicks in a 38-31 overtime win over Morehead State. His six blocked kicks (4 punts, 2 FG) in 2000 was an NCAA record at the time. He led the nation in interceptions with eight in 1999 and is tied for the school record in career interceptions with 17. He owns the school record for career blocked kicks (11) and pass breakups (31).
