Behm to Play in FCS Senior Bowl Saturday

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson linebacker John Behm has been named to the South Roster for the 2011 FCS Senior Bowl, which will kick off Saturday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m. at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The game will be broadcast live on HTC Cable Channel 4 in Myrtle Beach and streamed at www.HTCNetRacer.net.
Behm, who will also play longsnapper in the Senior Bowl, started every game he played in this season and recorded 37 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and a sack to earn All-PFL Honorable Mention honors. He was also named first-team Academic All-PFL?and Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District.
Behm played in 42 games in his career, making 30 starts, and posted 189 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, an interception, two forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries. He was named Preseason FCS All-America as a longsnapper in 2011 and was one of 22 players in the country named to the AllState AFCA Good Works Team, honoring a group of players who stand out for the positive influence they have in the community, in 2010.
