Vitaly Radsky Named SoCon Wrestler of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Davidson senior Vitaly Radsky was named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week Wednesday following his undefeated performance at the Pitt Duals Sunday, the league office announced.
Radsky went 4-0 during the 'Cats' Pennsylvania road swing, notching the only 3-0 mark among Wildcats wrestlers at the Pitt Duals. The Worthington, Ohio resident earned a major decision against Pittsburgh's Mike Tully despite Davidson dropping the dual match to the nationally-ranked Panthers.
He followed that with a pin versus Drexel and a decision against Millersville. Radsky began the week by being credited with a forfeit victory in a dual win over Franklin & Marshall.
The conference honor is his first of the season and the third of his career.
Radsky is currently off to the best start of his career at 9-1 on the season with a 1-0 SoCon mark and four pins.
The Wildcats will host their first dual meet of the season in Belk Arena Thursday at 7 p.m. against Duke.
