Davidson to Launch New Spirit Mark at Fan Day Aug. 14

DAVIDSON, N.C. - After a yearlong process of creative design and market testing, Davidson College will unveil its new spirit logo Saturday, Aug. 14, at 1 p.m. as part of Meet the Wildcats Fan Day on the Davidson Town Green.
Fan Day runs from 1-3 p.m., and fans will have the opportunity to see the unveiling of the new logo and meet various Davidson coaches and athletes. Apparel bearing the new spirit mark will be available at 'Cats on Main as well as the Davidson College book store.
Coaches and student athletes will be signing autographs, and select teams will be hosting exclusive skill stations. Children can meet all of their favorite Davidson athletes and can also enjoy the Kids Zone, which will include face painting, balloons and inflatable sports games.
A free raffle with prizes will take place every 15 minutes. Prizes include two universal season tickets (valued at $900), football and men's soccer season tickets, autographed team memorabilia and more! Fans can pick up a raffle ticket in participating Red & Black sponsor stores or they can enter the raffle at Fan Day.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside to Belk Arena in the Baker Sports Complex.
