KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Junior captain Bobby Urso leads Davidson men's golf with a four-under-par 67 to place in a tie for second individually after the first round of the Irish Creek Collegiate, hosted by the Charlotte Regional Sports Commission at The Club at Irish Creek. As a team Davidson, is 10th with a total score of 297. The second round is currently in progress.
Mercer leads at 281 and is followed by Ohio State (282), Charlotte (284) and Belmont Abbey (284). Mercer's Matt Tribby leads with a 66 (-5) and is followed by Urso (67, -4) and Charlotte's Olafur Loftsson (67, -4).
