Tuesday's Game at Auburn Rained Out; Doubleheader Scheduled for Wednesday

AUBURN, Ala. -- Tonight's baseball game between the Davidson Wildcats and Auburn Tigers has been rained out. The two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow starting at 1 p.m.
Davidson (6-2) is riding a six-game winning streak after going a perfect 5-0 in last week's competition.
Auburn (4-2) is coming off a 2-1 weekend, in which they defeated Boston College (6-5, 10 innings) and Florida Atlantic (17-4), and lost to Missouri, 7-11.
Freshman third baseman Andrew Barna has been named the SoCon Baseball Player of the Week, for all games from February 22-28 as selected by the league office, after batting a team-best 11-for-19 (.579) and slugging a team-best 1.053. With his first collegiate weekly honor, Barna also becomes the first Wildcat to earn SoCon Player of the Week honors since Matt Webb on March 19, 2007. Jay Heafner (April 4) and Andrew Musashe (May 2) were the two to previously do so, earning the honor in 2005.
