Davidson concluded a very successful fall season in 2009 by making its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament after capturing the program's fourth Southern Conference Tournament Title. The 'Cats had their sixth straight season with over 10 wins, closing out at 12-10-1 in coach Ashton's sixth year.
Opening their spring slate of games, the Wildcats will have a road game at Winthrop, Mar. 10, at 7 p.m., and then have a home game against Queens, Mar. 17, with gametime set for 6 p.m. The 'Cats battled the Eagles to open the 2009 season, with Davidosn coming out victorious by the score of 3-1.
