Haas/Straub started their final round on Pinhurst No.8 with a two-day score of 129, just one off the lead. A tough finish at one-over for second round leaders Travis Lethco, PGA and Luke Lovell, PGA left the door wide open for Haas/Straub to overtake the lead. Haas and Straub made just two bogeys in the 54-hole tournament, birdieing 20 holes and making one eagle.
