DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson defensive lineman Ellis Martin was named College Football Performance Awards FCS Honorable Mention Defensive Lineman of the Week, it was announced today.
The junior noseguard posted a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack to go along with six total hits in Saturday's home loss to San Diego. He has started all 10 games this season and has recorded 28 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
Davidson finishes the season with a non-conference contest at Presbyterian Saturday, Nov. 20, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
