Football Game Against Morehead State Will Raise Funds for UFS

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Enjoy an afternoon of family fun and support United Family Services by attending the Davidson College football game Oct. 10 at Richardson Stadium. The Wildcats will host Pioneer Football League opponent Morehead State at 1 p.m.
On game day, United Family Services will draw the winning tickets for the agency's “Wheels Raffle.” Winners will receive an adult bike from Cook Breeze Cyclery with a retail value of $329 or a $500 gift card to RimzOne.
Families are encouraged to apply and compete in the Punt, Pass and Kick Competition where the winning family will receive a $100 Harris Teeter gift card.
Proceeds from the event will support the Mooresville-Lake Norman office of United Family Services.
United Family Services is partnering with the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce to advocate for the placement of a magistrate in North Mecklenburg County and to offer Employee Assistance Programs to chamber members.

United Family Services provides hope and solutions for people in crisis. The non-profit offers individual and family counseling for children and adults, advocacy and counseling for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and consumer and housing counseling for those facing financial crisis.
