DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Coming off a successful 2009 season, several Davidson Wildcats baseball players are making an impact in some of the most respected summer leagues across the country.

Mike Frongello, Brainerd Lakes Area Lunkers of the Northwoods League.

Chris Kennedy, Wilmington Sharks of the Coastal Plains League.

Ryan Overcash, Lake Norman Copperheads of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League.

Chris Lamb, Hawaii Aliis of the Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League.

Brian Russell, Sag Harbor Whalers of the Hamptons Baeball League.

John Edwards, Alexandria Aces of the Cal Ripken Collegiate League.

Michael Loeb, Silver Spring-Takoma T-Bolts of the Cal Ripken Collegiate League.

The Davidson Wildcats finished the season with an 18-31 overall record, earning the seventh seed in the 2009 Southern Conference Baseball Tournament with an 11-16 league record.
