DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson football team played its annual spring scrimmage last Saturday at Smith Field at Richardson Stadium. The Wildcats went through some drills and then concluded the day with a 115-play scrimmage.

"We wound up practicing for about two and a half hours on a beautiful, sunny day," said head coach Tripp Merritt. “I thought our effort and enthusiasm were outstanding the entire duration of practice, and we had some young guys who got a ton of much-needed reps."
Davidson finishes its spring practice schedule this Wednesday.
