Baseball Game vs. Columbia Canceled Due to Rain

DAVIDSON, N.C. — The second game of a two-game baseball series featuring Davidson and Columbia was canceled due rain on Wednesday afternoon at Wilson Field.
Both teams batted in the first inning, but the rain halted play in the top of the second and forced a 30-minute rain delay. After the delay, game was called as the rain continued. The contest will not be made up later in the season.
The Wildcats next play host to College of Charleston in a three-game series on Mar. 21-23 as they open up Southern Conference play. The game on Friday is set for 7 p.m.
