Davidson Hosts "Think Pink" for Breast Cancer Awareness Day

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson Women's basketball team will host the annual “Think Pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness event on February 15, as the 'Cats face UNC Greensboro at 7 p.m. at Belk Arena.
Davidson will donate all single game ticket sales for the UNCG game to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. All donations and profits from “Think Pink” game-day T-shirts will also be donated to the Kay Yow Fund.
The head coach at North Carolina State University, Yow has lead the Wolfpack to 20 NCAA tournament appearances in her 32 years at NC State all the while battling with intermittent breast cancer since 1987. Created in 2007, the Kay Yow Foundation is committed to being a part of finding an answer in the fight against cancer through raising money for scientific research, assisting the underserved and unifying people for a common cause.
After the conclusion of the game, the Wildcats will host a meet and greet with the coaches and team on Friday night for fans in the upper lobby of the Baker Sports Complex. Players will be signing autographs and refreshments will be served.
