DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson Wildcat men's cross country team was designated one of 99 All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field Cross and Country Coaches Association.
With a team grade point average of 3.34, the Wildcats ranked 17th of the 99 teams honored. There are 299 schools that sponosor Division I men's cross country, and the list includes 33 percent of those teams.
Belmont University had the top team grade point average with a 3.57, followed by Wagner (3.56), Vanderbilt (3.54), Yale (3.52) and Weber State (3.47).
