O'Hair Named SoCon Wrestler of the Week

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson junior Sam O'Hair has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week, the league announced today.
O'Hair went 4-0 in dual meet competition, scoring 16 points for the Wildcats. He competed in his first match this season at 197, posting a 1-0 victory over Robert Holbrook of Duke, and earned a 10-0 major decision against Gardner-Webb at 184, his usual weight class. O'Hair owns a 17-7 overall record with four pins this season.
The Wildcats open SoCon play Sunday, Jan. 20, as they take on UNC Greensboro. Davidson will also compete against Virginia in the tri-meet.
