DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Wildcat women's lacrosse program has been busy this off-season with numerous activities according to second-year head coach Betsy Economou.
The team has been working with assistant track coach Earnest Moss on speed and agility drills as seen below.

In addition, the Wildcats have been working the physiological and mental part of their game with well-known Dr. Louis Csoka of Apex Performance. This is the second year Davidson has had the pleasure to work with Dr. Csoka.
The APEX training develops leaders and improves business results by impacting decision making, negotiating, selling and personal interactions. The program is not a motivational, lecture-based or physical fitness-based program. It is a one of a kind scientific approach for enhancing performance that utilizes advanced sensory feedback technologies to train and measure improvement of five “inner” competencies that separate good performers from great performers.

The Wildcats are coming off a 5-8 overall year, in which they rattled off wins in their final five games of the 2007 season. They will be led by a team that is seven seniors deep and return the services of top scorer junior Becky Horton (Walnut Creek, Calif.). Horton led the team with 27 goals and 33 points in 13 games played.
