Eighteen Athletes named to 2007 All-Academic Spring SoCon Team

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson placed 18 athletes on the 2007 TIAA-CREF Academic All-Southern Conference team for the spring season.
A total of 207 student-athletes representing all Southern Conference institutions and eight spring sports were named to the team, which had an average G.P.A. of 3.55.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 cumulative G.P.A. entering the spring of 2007 and have competed in at least one half of the team's competitions during the spring season.
This is the fourth year that the Southern Conference has named an All-Academic Team by season.
The all-academic teams are made possible by a grant from the Southern Conference's Education Partner, TIAA-CREF.
