
Burns Places Second in 5,000 Meters at Duke

DURHAM, N.C. - Junior captain Brenna Burns placed second in the 5,000 meters, representing the Davidson women's track and field team at the Duke Asics Twilight on the campus of Duke University Sunday afternoon.
Burns finished second in the field of 16 with a time of 17:24.09.
She finished sixth in the event and set a school record with an NCAA qualifying time of 16:51.35 at the Duke Asics Invitational on April 8.
The NCAA East Region Championships will be held in Gainesville, Fla. on May 25-26.
