Arce is in his 11th year of service to the Davidson wrestling team. Currently, he is serving as a volunteer coach following three years as an assistant. Born in Colombia, South America, Arce is a 14-time Colombian National Champion. He was the 1982 Pan-Am Champion and the Central American runner-up in 1986. He received his bachelor's degree as well as a master's degree from Hampton University in Hampton, Va. He works for Clariant Corporation, located in downtown Charlotte, in a management position. Arce brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the squad and his main focus will be on the heavyweight competitors.
