3rd Season
Joe Privitere is in his thrid season as an assistant coach on the Davidson staff.
He spent the previous two seasons at The Citadel, where he coached Dan Thompson, the first wrestling All-American in school history.
A 2003 graduate of Binghamton University, Privitere holds the Bearcat single-season victory record with 38. He was a Division II All-American his freshman year and an all-conference selection in 2002 and 2003.
In addition to his college experience, Privitere was also the 1998 High School National Champion, 1999 FILA Greco All-American, 2000 FILA Greco World Team Trial Champion and the 2000 FILA Greco World Silver Medalist.
Privitere earned a master’s degree in health, exercise and sport science from The Citadel in 2007.
