Hannah Jacobs was hired as an assistant coach in July 2026.
Jacobs comes to Davidson after a one-year stint as an assistant coach for the Queens University volleyball program in 2025.
She has also worked in other areas off the court. Jacobs was recently a marketing assistant with Robinson Value Management in San Antonio, Texas and an Assistant Director of Stewardship for The Rams Club at UNC.
The newest addition to the Davidson volleyball program started coaching athletes in 2018 in Baton Rouge, La. And Dallas, Texas. She worked with athletes ranging from elementary school all the way through high school.
Jacobs started her collegiate volleyball career at Southern Methodist University (Texas) from 2018-2021. Formerly an outside hitter, the New Braunfels, Texas native earned AAC All Second Team honors twice with the Mustangs.
She finished up playing as a graduate student at LSU during the 2022 campaign. Jacobs recorded 1,292 career kills across five seasons.
