Daniel Alvarez-Orlachia, Men's Track
-Won the 800 meters at the A-10 Indoor Championship, outkicking last year's champion and All-American. He came back and did the same thing in the 4x800 relay, helping
Davidson finish 5th in that event!
Jack Lang, Golf - Spring 2019
-Received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament
Sarah Helen Shepherd, Women's Swimming
-Took two championships en route to breaking five Davidson College records.
-Won the 200 IM by breaking a Davidson record in the prelims (first Davidson woman under 2 minutes) and then besting that in the Championship to at 1:58.99, the second fastest time in A-10 history.
-On Day 2, she swam to victory in the 400 IM, obliterating the record she set in prelims by more than 2 seconds at 4:14.81!
-In her final performance, she broke a Davidson record in the 200 backstroke to finish fourth in a field that included an NCAA qualifier.
-She also swam on four relays - the maximum allowed - breaking two college records, and won two silvers and a bronze.
-Finished as the second-highest point scorer of the Championship, narrowly being edged out for Swimmer of the Year honors.
Katie Turner, Women's Basketball
-Shot 6-9 from 3-point range in the first round of the A-10 Tournament
-Scored 18 points, recorded 5 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals over 39 minutes to lead the 'Cats to Dayton.
Daniel Valmassei, Men's Diving
-Won an A-10 title at his first A-10 Championship event, winning the 1m event by more than 18 points with 310.65 points, enough to qualify for NCAA Zones.
-Finished second on the 3m, making him the highest scoring male diver at the championship.
