Lacrosse - Rose Woolson Save vs. GMU in A-10 Tournament
In the final minute of the George Mason game during the first round of the A10 tournament, Woolson saves an open look. She had no business making this save as the player was not being defended and was right in front of the cage. This save gave us our final possession and helped us win the game.
Men's Basketball - Defense against Rhode Island in A-10 Championship Game
11 seconds left, Rhode Island ball under their basket down 1 point. Kellan Grady is matched up on their go to scorer - EC Matthews. They run a play to get him a catch and isolation, and Kellan locks him up forcing a pass to Jeff Dowtin. Jon Axel contests the shot, he misses it and Men's Basketball wins our program's first ever A10 Tournament Championship and a spot in the Big Dance.
Men's Soccer - Hugh Chatham Golden Goal at SLU
-First career goal by Hugh Chatham, assisted by fellow freshman Quinn Dudek. Due to injuries, Chatham was about the sixth string to play on the left wing, so he played the role of unlikely hero.
Women's Soccer - Sabine Chandler Game-Winner vs. Winthrop
-Sabine Chandler scored from approximately 30 yards out to score in the first half of their game against Winthrop. The 'Cats would hold on to win 2-0.
