Jayden Smith wins Gold in Record Setting Run

FAIRFAX, Va.- Jayden Smith won the 110 meter hurdles in record-breaking fashion at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship on Sunday, securing another gold medal for the Davidson Wildcats.
Smith set a new Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship record with a winning time of 13.39 seconds. This is also a new school record, breaking the previous mark that Smith set at the conference championship two years ago.
Smith has won the conference title in the 110 hurdles for four straight years. This performance puts Smith fourth overall in the NCAA this season and second in the East Region. The NCAA East Regional will start on May 28 in Jacksonville.
Edward Brown set a personal record in the Shot Put with a 14.61 meter (47' 11.25) throw, finishing eighth overall in the conference. The 4x800m relay team finished fourth in the conference with a time of 7:33.13, clocking the second fastest time in school history in the event.
