Atlantic 10 Announces 2023-24 Women's Basketball Pairings

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Atlantic 10 women's basketball will shift to an 18-game conference slate during the 2023-24 season, as Davidson will compete in home-and-home series with Fordham, Dayton, George Mason and reigning tournament champions Saint Louis, the league office announced Thursday.
The Wildcats will also play host to Massachusetts, Duquesne, Richmond, VCU and George Washington, as the league expands from its usual 16-game format.
Davidson will hit the road for an additional five contests, visiting Loyola Chicago for the first time in program history, while also traveling to Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure, Saint Joseph's and La Salle.
Over the last two seasons the 'Cats have defeated the eventual A-10 champions from inside Belk Arena, downing UMass 76-67 in 2022 and beating Saint Louis 75-71 in 2023. Second Team All-Conference forward Elle Sutphin returns for the Wildcats after being a top-six scorer in the conference, averaging 16.4 points per game and shooting 49.6 percent from the floor.
The complete 2023-24 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be released at a later date.
The 2024 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship will be played in early March at the brand new Henrico Sports & Events Center in Richmond, Va.
