Davidson Closes Out Camel City Invitational

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Davidson track and field team finished competing at the Camel City Invitational at the JDL Fast Track on Saturday.
The men's 1000-meter run was dominated by two Wildcats, sophomore Raphael Degenero and freshman Jack Muldoon. They finished in first and second place with times of 2:31.42 and 2:32.25, respectively.
Breila Fuller finished fourth overall in the 1000-meter run with a time of 3:00.39, a new personal best for the junior. Freshman Jack Stajos finished 14th overall in the men's shot put with a mark of 12.86m (42" 2.25').
After the weekend, Aleia Gisolfi-McCready's winning time of 56.88 in the 400m sits third overall in the Atlantic 10. Additionally, her time of 1:15.52 in the 500m sits fourth in the A-10. RIght behind her in the overall 500m standings is Anna Davis with her time of 1:16.58.
