Record Support for Davidson Athletics on #AllinforDavidson Day

On Wednesday, April 21, Davidson College hosted the 8th annual #AllinforDavidson. A day when the Davidson community unites in support of the college, its mission and its future.
Despite battling a year-long pandemic that has limited fan attendance, reduced competitions and restricted face-to-face interactions, the Davidson Athletic Fund raised a record $146,845 from more than 550 donors, marking a 42 percent increase over the previous year's giving on this day.
"On behalf of everyone within Davidson Athletics – our scholar-athletes, coaches and staff, I would like to thank the Wildcat community for stepping up and investing during #AllinforDavidson," said Chris Clunie '06, Director of Athletics. "These generous gifts provide much-needed resources to our athletic programs and scholar-athletes. Thank you for your continued support - helping us do more with more and do athletics the right way. Go 'Cats!"
Gifts received in support of scholarships and sport-specific operational needs will enhance the experiences of our nearly 500 scholar-athletes in 21 NCAA Division I programs and make a positive impact on their time as Wildcats and their pursuit of excellence.
Alums, families and friends from all 50 states and several countries helped to make this year's #AllinforDavidson a huge success for Davidson College.
