Davidson Athletic Fund Welcomes New Assistant Director of Athletic Development Austin Buntz

The Davidson Athletic Fund is pleased to announce the addition of Assistant Director of Athletic Development Austin Buntz to their team. His primary responsibility is to raise philanthropic support to advance athletics priorities in the areas of scholarships, endowments, and capital projects.Prior to joining the DAF team, Austin served as an associate manager for global basketball sports marketing with Under Armour, where he managed Under Armour Basketball's Undeniable High School Programs, select NBA athletes and their Jr. NBA partnership. Additionally, Austin worked with Davidson as the Under Armour contact for the college's basketball and golf programs, while assisting with all product needs and marketing activations. He also helped position Davidson basketball as the first collegiate Curry Brand property, corresponding with the launch of Stephen Curry's brand in December 2020.
Austin is a graduate of Penn State University, where he served as the head manager for the men's basketball program for four years.
