Day One of Duke Invite Suspended, Events to Resume Saturday

DURHAM, N.C. –Friday's opening day of the Duke Invitational was suspended early due to severe weather moving into the area throughout the afternoon.
A few Wildcats got through their events including Colin Ross in the men's 5,000-meter run and Susannah Cate on the women's side.
Cate placed eighth overall with a 5k time of 18:04.48, while Ross led the men's contingent, stopping the clock in 15:16.80.
The Duke Invitational will resume Saturday morning at 8 a.m.at Morris Williams Track.
