
Caveney Earns A-10 Indoor All-Academic Team Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson senior Sean Caveney was named to the Atlantic 10 Men's Track and Field Indoor All-Academic team, announced by the conference office Wednesday.
An environmental studies major, the selection marks the second league academic team recognition for the Andover, Mass., native. Caveney previously earned a spot on the Outdoor All-Academic team in 2018.
Caveney placed 11th at the A-10 Indoor Championship in the 60-meter hurdles and was a member of both the distance medley relay and 4x400-meters relay teams that scored at the conference championship.
Caveney has also received U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic honors following his sophomore season in the summer of 2017.
The All-Academic team is voted on by the Sports Information Directors. Student-athletes must be in their second year of eligibility and be a significant contributor to their program with a cumulative GPA over 3.0.
