Field Hockey's Turner Inducted To High School Hall of Fame

St. Catherine's Hall of Fame
RICHMOND, Va. – Davidson field hockey coach Ginny Turner, who will enter her 11th season at the helm this coming fall, has been named an Athletic Hall of Fame inductee by St. Catherine's School, her high school alma mater.
Established in 2012, the Hall of Fame honors and celebrates outstanding achievements of athletes, coaches, and others who have made significant contributions to the Saints athletic program and women's athletics in general.
A three-sport athlete at St. Catherine's, Turner was a key contributor to the Saints 2000 state title in field hockey, which as a whole was inducted in 2016. She played collegiately at William & Mary, where she helped guide the Tribe to four consecutive Top-15 national rankings and served as captain during her senior campaign while being named second-team All-Colonial Athletic Association.
The Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year in 2015, Turner and seven other Saints alums will be inducted Saturday, Jan. 27, at the Country Club of Virginia in Richmond.
