Field Hockey Falls to No. 13 Wake Forest in Home Finale

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson field hockey concluded its 2017 home schedule Sunday, falling 4-0 to No. 13 Wake Forest at Belk Turf Field.
The 'Cats slip to 1-15 on the year, while Wake improves to 11-6.
Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Zeszotarski registered 10 saves, including some impressive stops throughout the course of the contest. She now has 111 on the year.
The first half began with a fairly even amount of possession changes, before Wake began to control the tempo, scoring three times.
The Demon Deacons added a goal in the second period to solidify the 4-0 victory.
The Wildcats make their final road trip of the season next weekend, traveling to conference foe No. 19 Saint Joseph's before concluding the year at LIU Brooklyn in New York.
