JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Will Brewster concluded his impressive junior campaign Saturday evening at the 2016 NCAA Track & Field East Preliminary on the campus of North Florida.
A native of Grayslake, Ill., Brewster turned in a 14:52.23 in the 5,000 meters in his respective heat.
The all-conference performer qualified for the event with a school-record 14:07.79 at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival earlier this spring.
The top five competitors from each heat as well as the next two best times advance to the National Championships, which will be held June 8-11 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
