'Cats Conclude Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Davidson 4x800 team raced to a seventh place finish in its relay as the Wildcats track and field teams wrapped up the Raleigh Relays, hosted by N.C. State, Saturday.
The Davidson foursome of Sarah Sears, Grace Watt, Ashlyn Gruber and Olivia Menden finished in 9:20.77 to earn a top-10 finish. The Wildcats were just .24 seconds behind sixth-place Rutgers (9:20.53). The Kent State quartet claimed victory in 9:02.34.
In the 800 meter run, Hannah Rieden clocked a 2:13.83. The sophomore finished in 12th place. Brigid Behrens wasn't far behind, as the senior crossed in 2:17.11 to take 18th place.
On the men's side, Patrick Rollo competed in the 800 meter run. The junior crossed the line in 2:02.36.
Davidson will return to action with a trip to High Point, N.C. The Wildcats will compete at the Vert Klasse Meet April 3-4.
