Davidson Earns Academic Honors from NFHCA

NFHCA Academic Team Award | NFHCA Aademic Squad
DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson field hockey team received the 2014 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award, while six Wildcats were named to the National Academic Squad for their efforts off the field, announced Monday.
Junior Danielle King, sophomores Becca Jones and Lauren McFayden and freshmen Dodi Allocca, Morgan French and Alex Kane were named to the NFHCA's National All-Academic team. It's the second time King, Jones and McFayden have been honored.
The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2014-15 academic year, while the team award recognizes those institutions that achieved a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall 2014 semester.
