Davidson Releases Spring Slate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The Davidson field hockey team will compete in five spring contests, including a pair of play days and an alumnae game, head coach Ginny Turner announced Tuesday.
Davidson will open the 2015 spring schedule with a play day at Belk Turf Field, March 21. The Wildcats will host Appalachian State and Limestone.
Davidson will then travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., to take on ACC powerhouse Wake Forest, April 2. The Demon Deacons finished the 2014 campaign ranked fifth in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association poll.
The Wildcats will wrap up their spring schedule with a play day at reigning Atlantic 10 conference champs Richmond, April 11. Davidson will face off with the Spiders and VCU.
All former players are invited to the squad's annual Alumnae Game on April 18 at Belk Turf Field.
