DAVIDSON, N.C. - Head field hockey coach Ginny Turner sits down to discuss the Wildcats' inaugural season in the Atlantic 10 conference.
Turner, in her eighth season at the helm of the program, recaps the ups and downs of the year, the transition to a new conference and the unparalleled work ethnic and leadership demonstrated by her squad.
The Wildcats finished the season on a high note with a 1-0 double overtime victory at Belk Turf Field against Atlantic 10 foe VCU. Melissa Funsten and Hannah Fisher earned postseason all-conference honors. Funsten was named to the second team, while Fisher earned a spot on the rookie team.
