
Davidson Hall of Fame Class Honored

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- On Saturday, February 9, 2013, the Davidson Athletics Hall of Fame welcomed four new members. Hall of Fame inductees Boris Henderson '01 (football), Bill Iverson '49 (football, basketball, track), Sterling Martin '63 (track and cross country, long-time administrator), and Mara Mordini '01 (volleyball) were joined by President Carol Quillen, Dirctor of Athletics Jim Murphy, family, former teammates, and current members of the Hall of Fame.
Following a reception and a dinner, each inductee was given the opportunity to speak and reflect on their Davidson athletic experience and achievements. Afterwards the inductees and their guests joined the Davidson faithful at Belk arena to cheer on the men's basketball team against Appalachian State.
At halftime, the inductees' bios were read and they were recognized by the crowd with cheers and a standing ovation.
