DAF Student Volunteers Hold Mini Thank-A-Thon

Davidson, N.C.-- Several Davidson College athletic teams used the days leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday to reach out to alumni, parents and friends of their program to offer a special thank you.
Over the last week, student athletes from the volleyball, wrestling and baseball teams took time out of their busy day to make thank you calls. Their message was simple... 'Thank you for what you do to support our team." The student athletes enjoyed the experience very much and there are plans to expand the thank-a-thon to additional teams after the holiday recess.
So if you see Davidson College appear on your caller ID, pick up the phone. It could very well be a student athlete calling to say thanks!
