English Earns NorPac Rookie Honor

Radford, Va. – For the second time this season, Davidson freshman Katherine Davis has earned NorPac accolades, garnering the NorPac East Rookie of the Week award for week six as announced by the league Monday afternoon.
English was one of the offensive leaders on the week, notching a goal in the Wildcats' 6-2 loss to Liberty. The Louisville, Ky., native had six shots on the weekend, including two of Davidson's five attempts vs. the Flames. She was also second in attempts against Longwood with four, two of which came on goal. English ranks second on the team in goals with four and is fourth in scoring with eight points on the season.
After a month on the road, the Wildcats return to Belk Turf Field to host NorPac foe Appalachian State Friday evening in a 6:30 p.m. match up.
