Moynahan Earns Weekly CFPA Honor

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson senior Patrick Moynahan was named an FCS Honorable Mention Linebacker Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards, it was announced Sunday.
Moynahan led the Wildcats defensively Saturday against Georgetown with 11 tackles, five of which were solo stops, and a game-high 4.5 tackles for loss.
Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
Davidson travels to Lenoir-Rhyne Saturday for its second game of the season, kicking off at 7 p.m. in Hickory, N.C.
