DES MOINES, Iowa – The wrestling community is taking notice of Alex Radsky's recent success on the national stage. Radsky and Davidson wrestling coach Bob Patnesky discussed the NCAA Championships and the upcoming U.S. World Team Trials in this week's edition of Takedown Radio TV Wrestling News.
TDR TV is a weekly broadcast by Scott Casber covering the latest news on the sport of wrestling.
Radsky won the 60 kg (133 pounds) bracket at the USA Wrestling Northern Plains Senior Freestyle Regionals on May 15 to advance to the World Team Trials in Council Bluffs, Iowa, June 11-12.
Radsky, who in March became Davidson's first Southern Conference Champion in 41 years and competed at the NCAA Wrestling Championships for the first time in his career, won four decisions en route to the regional title.
At the 2010 USA Wrestling World Team Trials, Radsky will be competing against national champions, Olympians and World medalists for a place on the national team that will represent the United States at the 2010 World Championships in Moscow, Russia.
